Lots to love at Lands’ End

I’ve been waiting for a new Lands’ End coupon, and thankfully I didn’t have to wait for long. Right now you can use coupon code PICK30 with PIN 3022 to get 30% off and free shipping on anything that isn’t clearance!

Remember, Lands’ End no longer has an “Overstocks” section, they just have a “Sale” section. They also don’t always clearly demarcate their clearance items anymore, but anything that ends in .97 is a clearance item. The deal with this coupon is that it will take 30% off of anything, but only give you free shipping if there is at least one non-clearance item in your cart. (So it’s not that you can’t get free shipping on clearance, just that you have to buy at least one thing that isn’t clearance.)

Not that that’s usually a problem for me. Ahem.

Time to stock up at Old Navy

As if the prices at Old Navy aren’t already stock-up-worthy, they just keep churning out the coupons to make it a deal you just can’t refuse.

Shop them today and use coupon code ONSAVE20 for 20% off just about everything, or if you have a a store card (and that includes a card to Gap or Banana Republic, you know, because they are the Borg Collective of clothing stores) you can use coupon code ONSTUFF30 for an extra 30% off, instead.

Some exclusions apply, but there’s ton of stuff you can get for even less. And how can you not love a store where you can go shopping “for the kids” and end up with a few cute things for yourself?

Fashion dolls that won’t give you hives

Maybe it’s just me that has that reaction to Barbies (boobs! hooker shoes!) or American Girl dolls (so expensive!) or Bratz (this one needs no explanation, I assume). Dolls were always a bone of contention ’round here when my daughter was younger, because I refused to buy ones that looked like street walkers and I also refused to take out a second mortgage to afford ones that didn’t.

It’s too late for my girl, but maybe not for yours—today’s Kids.Woot is your choice of either the Yuko or Gianna Best Friends Doll for just $15 + $5 shipping. These dolls not only have beautiful faces, they’re fully articulated and can be posed in over a hundred ways. They’re 18″ tall, so the same height as American Girl, but slimmer. I think they’re just darling (particularly Yuko—Asian dolls can be hard to find—and she’s currently $33 shipped from Amazon).

The price is certainly right, though I’d argue that circumventing the scary other options out there is truly priceless.

Summer clothes for the kids? Check!

Haven’t you ordered what you need for the summer from Children’s Place, yet? No worries if you haven’t—they’re offering free shipping on every order, today. So whether you procrastinated or your rotten children had the audacity to grow another couple of inches overnight, you’re covered.

Make it even better—use coupon code W2H2012 for an additional 15% off your order, too.

Summer basics start at just $6 each, and I am not even joking when I tell you that when mah baybee outgrows their stuff I am going to cry. He is currently living in their “matchables” shorts ($7 each before coupon!), and is just one growth spurt away from no longer wearing kids’ sizes. Sniffle.

It’s a Kohls bonus

No need to wait until Wednesday to get your Kohls on this week; they’re offering free shipping on every order, to everyone, right now! Just use coupon code SHIPFREE.

Even better, everyone can use coupon code GIFT4U20 for an additional 20% off your order, too, today and tomorrow.

My tip of the day with Kohls—always check the Seasonal clearance! While they’re currently chock-full of Easter stuff that’s covered in bunnies, some items—like kitchen towels, for example—are in the clearance just because they have flowers on ‘em. (Oh no, not flowers!) It can be a good way to pick up items that aren’t truly “one holiday” limited.

Another chance to pay less at Payless

I love Payless. There, I said it. I loved them even before they started carrying decent shoes and designer brands and stuff. It is my belief that people who pay big money for shoes for their kids—when said children generally wear dress shoes only a handful of times before they’re outgrown, and sneakers only a few months before they’re trashed—probably have brain damage. Kids go through shoes like crazy. So I love the place that keeps ‘em in shoes during the crazy-growing years without bankrupting me.

Right now it’s BOGO time at Payless, which means that nearly everything is Buy One, Get the 2nd Half Price. On top of that, you can apply coupon code 65814 for an additional 25% off your order.

Shipping is a flat $5.95, or free if you’re willing to pick up at your local store. All the kids can get new shoes, with enough left over for a pair (or two) for you, too. Awesome.

Monster High mania

Look, I’ll be the first one to say that I really don’t get the Monster High dolls. They’re basically… undead Bratz? Is that right? I don’t know. Thankfully, my girlchild is past the age where this is A Thing, so I don’t have to think about it too hard.

But hey, apparently they’re kind of expensive and sometimes hard to find. Maybe that’s why Amazon suggested to me that I buy this Monster High Skull Shores Black and White Frankie Stein Doll, even though I’m pretty sure I don’t need a creepy Frankenstein fashion doll. She’s down to just $4.13 shipped if you have Prime, and eligible for free Super Saver Shipping on your $25+ order if you don’t.

I don’t know. They still kind of creep me out, but it’s certainly the right price if you have a kid who’s into ‘em.

Tax Days savings on your favorites

In addition to their regular daily sales, today (and all weekend) 6pm.com is doing something different—they’re offering an array of products under $50 in celebration of your tax return. (Personally, my tax return wasn’t much to celebrate, but I appreciate their enthusiasm, regardless.)

The bad news is that the deals don’t go live until 9:00 Eastern (a little less than an hour from now); the good news is that you can click through to the eligible items already, their prices just aren’t correct. See something you think you’ll want? Toss it in your basket—the price should adjust when the sale goes live.

Not a bad way to kick off Friday the 13th, eh?

Oh, baby—big savings

Have your own little bundle of joy and soggy diapers at home? Preparing for a baby shower? Either way, you’re probably shopping for all sorts of baby things, and today’s the day to save at Amazon on all your purchases. Today (Thursday, April 12th, 2012) only, shop their qualifying assortment of baby items and you’ll save $10 on every $50 spent with coupon code BABY2012, up to a total savings of $100!

Most of the eligible items are already on sale, and the more you spend, the more you save. They’ve got everything from the big stuff (strollers, breast pumps, highchairs) right on down to swaddlers and feeding accessories. I love that you could pick up a $300 stroller and bam, you’ve saved $60 just like that.

Also, I’d just like to say that I’m a wee bit bitter that diaper bags are so cool looking, nowadays. Back in my day, we didn’t have these options that looked like couture purses, you know. I carried a plain nylon bag from Lands’ End and I liked it. Whippersnappers.

Your Wednesday dose of Kohls

I love how y’all remind me when I forget that it’s Wednesday and there needs to be a Kohls post. You are definitely my people.

So, what’s up over there today? Let’s see: It’s time to redeem your Kohls Cash from the last earning period, and everyone gets free shipping on their $75+ order, automatically. There’s all kinds of “Power Pricing” all over the site, too. Everyone can use coupon code SMS9873 for an additional 20% off any order, too.

Sadly, there doesn’t appear to be a valid free shipping code right now, but don’t forget that you can always return items for free at your local store. Have I ever thrown something extra into my order to get free shipping and then run it back to the store later? I plead the 5th. Just sayin’ that sometimes that’s easier than braving the store to shop, is all.
